The Designer behind
Lechelle Petite
Michelle’s relationship with jewellery began long before Lechelle Petite was born. At just 15, she launched her first jewellery brand—becoming one of Singapore’s early digital entrepreneurs, and earning national media attention for her work in online retail as teen.
Though her academic path led her overseas to study foreign affairs and international law, her creative instincts never quieted. Between classes and exams, Michelle found herself drawn to fashion’s orbit—taking on roles at Fashion Weeks in London, Paris, and Sydney, and participating in design competitions that nurtured her eye for form and detail.
Her early career in diplomacy and analysis offered more than global exposure—it taught her the language of presence: how what you wear speaks before you do. Power dressing, cultural nuance, restraint, and refinement—these codes would later become the foundation of her design ethos.
When the world slowed during the pandemic, Michelle returned to her roots. In the quiet of lockdown, she set up a home workshop and began making jewellery again—intuitively, by hand, and with no agenda beyond sharing beauty. The response was immediate and organic.
“Lechelle” is the designer’s nickname. “Petite” reflects the brand’s signature—refined, delicate jewellery with quiet strength. Together, the name speaks to personal craft and understated elegance. What began as a personal creative ritual grew into a boutique jewellery house that bridges heritage and modernity, feminine grace and sculptural clarity, luxury and intimacy.

Launched in 2020,
romantic fine jewellery
collections crafted by hand
in Singapore
Lechelle Petite began as a hobbyist jeweller's sharing of her creations on instagram during the lockdowns of the global pandemic in 2020. Discovered by British Vogue and L'Officiel, it was not long before Lechelle Petite grew into a well-loved official atelier based in Singapore. A lover of art, Michelle collaborates with artists from around the world to create one-of-a-kind designer wearable art pieces of the finest handmade quality. The collections heavily feature luxury pearls -- capitalising on Michelle's access as a direct distributor of luxury akoya pearls from Japan. Each piece is meticulously and thoughtfully designed to enhance natural beauty and timeless romantic elegance.

Pushing boundaries
between handmade &
fine jewellery
Years of experience with mix media and handmade art has culminated into beautiful pieces masterfully crafted by Michelle. Every new creation is opulent but petite & tasteful. Details are beautiful up-close, yet every piece is designed to complement, rather than overwhelm a look. Lechelle Petite's creations are meant to be built into every woman's (or man's) individual style & look. Living life with some panache and colour, is our passion.
