I am Michelle and I design every single piece on this page by hand. I have been working on jewellery professionally for more than 10 years now, since I was in my teens. Back then, my label "JChelle" was featured in Singapore's national papers the Strait Times and the Today Business supplement. JChelle was recognised as one of the pioneer online enterprises, and I a pioneer online entreprenuer.

A little more on my personal journey. JChelle closed when I left Singapore for the UK and Sydney, Australia, to further my studies. I chose to pursue my passion and a career in Foreign Affairs and diplomacy. After serving as a foreign affairs analyst for a number of years, I then made a difficult but meaningful decision to leave the diplomatic service to join my family business in education. It would mean working more closely with the communities in Singapore and bridging the gaps in education. Though it was an extremely emotionally-trying decision -- I truly loved being an analyst and a diplomatic envoy -- the decision was definitely a God-led one that led to great joy. 

Today, I not only have the honour and joy of working with the next generation of Singapore, but I am also able to carve out time to return to my first loved hobby of creating fine-jewellery for ladies. Education and nurturing young minds excites me, while creating beauty inspires and gives me rest. 

As a hobbyist creator, I make jewellery pieces in small batches and endeavour to work creatively with both local and international artists. I want to disrupt the jewellery scene and redefine luxury -- producing unique collectibles that are of quality, and completely accessible to any lady regardless of age and background.
